photog !
My name is Grace Nguyen, and I am the 21-year-old who founded Grace Nguyen Co. in 2019. After begging my dad to let me use his camera as a high school freshman, I decided to take matters into my own hands and learn the art of photography through my high school's newspaper, where it all started. Photojournalism sparked my interest and impacted me so much that I decided I wanted to pursue a career in the creative industry.
So blessed to finally say I am a college grad from the University of Oklahoma. Boomer Sooner! I graduated in December 2023 with a B.A.J. in Advertising. My future aspirations are to pursue a career as a social media coordinator for a brand in-house marketing team, a creative for an advertising firm, or even make it as a team photographer for the NFL. The possibilities are absolutely endless.

I would be doing myself a disservice if I did not talk about what got me here: sports. My passion for photography started in sports photojournalism which has taken me to places I never dreamed possible. I have been fortunate enough to shoot UIL Texas State Championships where I decided that my photography journey could not just stop at AT&T Stadium. I got the privilege to work as a Sooner Vision Production Assistant and a Sooner Sports Properties Advertising Intern. These opportunities expanded my creative knowledge and portfolio, allowed me to shoot collegiate sports, and even learn videography. My most recent adventure was covering the 2022 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championship as a
photographer + videographer.
